Founder, President & Lead Designer

As the founder and president of Bird Dog Wedding, I have been producing events for over a decade. I have always been inspired by the exciting, fun, and beautiful. This, combined with a high level or organization, led me to event design and planning. I am passionate about creating fresh, fun, detailed events from scratch, which embrace each couple.

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with smart, creative, and trusting couples - bringing their vision to reality on one of the best and most important days of their lives.

Previously, I pursued a BA in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin. From there, I worked as an educational consultant where I managed several projects and dealt with various clients, much like today.

You will find my work on Martha Stewart Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, Southern Weddings, and 100 Layer Cake to name a few.

On my down time, you will find me in Austin, hanging with my husband and two kids.

It's truly a joy to help manifest beautiful and memorable events with this rockstar team. I find satisfaction in creating order out of chaos, and my goal is to ultimately showcase the fun, creative spirit of each couple.

Growing up in Louisiana has given me a deep appreciation for celebration, and I love to see loved-ones connecting over food, music, and friendship. After moving to Austin, I worked for several years in marketing, copywriting, and project management, but soon noticed a desire to combine my creativity and organizational skills. I have a degree in English with a minor in Art History from LSU, and I'm perpetually interested in all forms of storytelling. (Sometimes the movie is just as good as the book!) I'm currently in search of the perfect pastry and would love to tell you about my jam addiction.
